We recommend getting a front-end alignment after getting new tires on. This helps to get the full life out of tires without uneven wearing.

  • HOW TO TELL IF YOU NEED NEW TIRES!

    * TREAD DEPTH- How much tread you have left. Recommend replacing when tread is at 2/32 inch remaining.

    * AGE- We recommend replacing tires 6 or more years past the manufacture date on tires.

    * DRY ROT-  dry rot is crack &  in tires from being older, not stored correctly, or sitting in the sun for too long.

  • HOW TO FIND TIRE SIZES

    * Side of tire wall tire size is the letters & numbers

    * Inside frame of driver side door.

  • TIRE CLASS

    * P- Passenger Vehicle

    * LT- Light Truck

    * ST- Special Trailer

  • TIRE WIDTH

    * EXAMPLE- 235/75R16 Width is that first number 235.

    * Width is measured from side wall edge to sidewall edge over the tread (measured in millimeters).

    * The larger the number, the wider the tire.

  • ASPECT RATIO

    ASPECT RATIO

    * EXAMPLE- 235/75R16 aspect ratio is that second number 75.

    * Side wall size

    * Lower number like 45 means less side wall. ( Improves steering response & better overall handling)

  • INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION

    * 'R' Refers to radial construction


  • RIM DIAMETER

    * EXAMPLE- 235/75R16 Rim diameter is that last number 16. ( measured in inches)
